Uses Medicinally:
Viscum album is an evergreen plant that grows in deciduous trees. It typically forms a symbiotic relationship with trees, drawing nourishment from its host. Mistletoe is often used in blended formulas geared for inflammation and blood pressure dysfunction. It is currently being studied for cancer treatment. It can even be steeped as mistletoe tea or extracted, but caution is warranted on dose and duration due to potent alkaloids and possible viscotoxins.
